Over the last year, AboutFace staff have been fielding calls at the head office from members of the facial difference community regarding make-up tutorials, including full-coverage make-up. We are currently in a position to run a pilot session for make-up this fall. The two-day event is taking place for free on September 21 and 22 in downtown Toronto.
The sessions are being run by Ashley Vieira and are provided, as follows:
- On September 21 from 1-5pm, we are providing an afternoon of socializing and make-up with snacks available – learn about different make-up techniques and connect with members of the community.
- On September 22 from 1-5pm, drop-in for some one-on-one time with Ashley. These sessions will be provided on a first-come, first- served basis.
To register for one or both days, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know which day/s you will be attending.
We want to acknowledge that make-up, and make-up application, is a personal choice of individual community members and we are pleased to be able to run this pilot session for those who are interested and would like to learn more.
