Ani Spooner is a facial difference and self-acceptance advocate who was born with a port wine stain that covers half of her face.
She is also the Founder and CEO of PLURALIE.com, a stock photo/video/music agency with a focus on
promoting diversity and inclusion of marginalized people, while making accessible a wide range of positive and authentic content to the world.
Ani has also had a long career as a professional singer, choosing to be in the public eye without hiding her facial difference. Furthermore, she has had the opportunity to work as a co-facilitator of workshops and support groups for women with facial differences and disabilities as part of the Women’s College
Hospital Body Image Project.
Being part of the AboutFace Board of Directors is very fulfilling to Ani who enjoys contributing to this great Canadian organization that shares her passion for promoting change for and supporting people with facial differences.
