Jennifer Little, RN, is a mental health clinician with a private psychotherapy practice and experience with working in health systems in Ontario in operational and quality improvement roles.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Toronto, Lawrence Bloomberg School of Nursing, in 2007. She practiced at an inner-city hospital providing emergency psychiatric care as part of a prominent crisis team, and practiced inpatient rehab care at one of the nation’s top psychiatric hospitals. Looking to advance her practice, Jennifer graduated from Ryerson University, Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, with a Master of Nursing in 2013.
Jennifer has been practicing mental health care and psychotherapy at an advanced level independently for the last 5 years in community. Patients seen include adolescents, youth, adults and elderly with a variety of concerns from anxiety, depression to psychosis and dementia as well as care across the life continuum including students, new parents, relationship stress, and transitions to supportive living/retirement. She has experience supporting those in grief and family members whose loved one is palliative or suffering from a chronic illness.
During her spare time, Jennifer enjoys volunteering for active causes and was attracted to the vision and mission of AboutFace. As a busy mom of 2 boys, she values making every moment with her kids memorable.
