Camp Trailblazers

A welcome escape for kids ages 8 to 17 who are living with a facial difference.

There’s no other way to put it… Camp equals FUN!! And that is no different for kids who attend Camp Trailblazers.

By providing a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for children ages 8-17 living with a facial difference, camp turns into a home away from home. Whether swimming, hiking or singing by the campfire, Camp Trailblazers is a place where youth are able to build life-long friendships with people their age with similar life experiences.

Each year, we meet new campers and welcome back old friends, growing our network of friends who stay connected and who go on to form a valuable support network for each other. Along the way, campers are able to grow, as they learn different ways to maintain a strong mental health.

Living with a facial difference can sometimes be a challenging experience, and it is important that children with facial differences know that they are not along in their journey. Camp Trailblazers provides a space where children with facial differences can foster vital friendships with peers, learn how to self-advocate, and gain confidence and self-esteem.
